i finally installed the kit and let me tell you the stopping power is NICEEEE. i went on a test drive and was going about 110 and i didn't have to press down to hard but went from 110 to 65 in a flash.........i have some pics to show, sorry for the crapy pics but i havn't had time latley and i also have some issues with my drop that i'm working out.... shall have better pics soon and i am installing H&R sway bars in the front and rear along with my camber arm in the rear.....

thanks guys, the ss brake lines are coming in this week along with camber kit, sway bars. i'm gonna change the pads next time when it needs it.. i wash the car every week anyways.....

Alex did you powdercoated your wheel the rason i ask is because i want to do this to my Carlssons. If yes how much does it cost to do powdercoating.
Nice brakes did you have to do modifications to make them work how much does kit like this costs.

no i had them painted when my car was at the bodyshop, i wanted them powdercoated and they never did it. it's okay for now until i get my dpe wheels in and then i'm going to chromw out these or polish them for my dad's car. the kit is bolt on.... price is reasonable, got the parts from the dealership, i don't know the price because i was sick when the parts came to my shop.. it's a little under 800 i believe.....

Excuse my ignorance but is that cross drilled rotor in the first pic your original ones or the AMG one's look very similar - except for the rusty hub (??????).

BTW, what is the effect of braided hoses? Is it mainly visual or is it very functional too?

thanks man, i had aftermarket zimmerman brands on there before and they suck! was another reason why i couldn't wait any longer to upgrade and yes dave the SS hoses are better cause the fluid goes right striaght to the brakes instead of the rubber ones that need to expand, stoping time becomes better.....

Braided stainless steel lines also have the effect of giving you a more positive brake pedal feel because the lines do not expand as the rubber ones do.

well the painted amg's are custom if anyone wants it...... yes dave, i painted the rivots, i thought it would be something different, i really wanted to stick to the black/white theme, and this gives it less bling..... i had a friend who told me to do the black wheel and white walls...........i think it's getto but he did a photoshop and it looked tight, something different.............

White walls? I assume you mean the sides. Yes, the contrast looks great, I especially like the contrast in the bolt holes Silver rivots (nipples) would have been a bit racier but the way it is looks cool too (I just assumed u were going to leave the rivots silver/bare).

thanks, but i wanna do much more to the car but it doesn't help when a E39 M5 comes to the shop...one came in today and the guy wants to super charge it.........i'm like ...........but we'll see what he'll do.......... i want that car!!! thats my next project, a e39, hopefully a m5 but gotta see....

Alex will the brakes from 04 C 230 sport fit our cars too i rather have Mercedes Benz writen on my caliper. They look like the C32 brakes just the sign is different.

i think they should work but they'll be smaller then the c32 kit, you can still get the c32 ones in any color and still have the amg writin on there...have 3 kits in stock..........

Alexbenz did you have to use spacers to clear the AMG calipers if yes would i have to use them on my Carlsson 2/6 with 35mm offset. And also the C32 right caliper goes on our left side and left on right this is not a problem because i heard some people saing that it might be.
