Mercedes EZS EIS - f - EZS ELCODE 2105450308
When the key is inserted there is no switching noise associated with the ELS
I had to have a tow truck driver I have relationship with drag the car approximately 15 feet to grab it from the rear of the car from the position it was parked in.
The day prior I had run a Quick report in DAS HHTWIN that indicated a fault - f - EZS - Electronic ignition switch ELCODE 2105450308
Unfortunately, I cant access the EZS with DAS HHTWIN any longer in an effort to locate or troubleshoot
I did check voltage on my Motorola chipped FOB and I am 7.4 Ohms at the RFID power pick ups and have verified that the IR transmitter LED's light up purple when the key FOB is depressed at the Lock, Unlock, Trunk, and Panic push points
The scratches on the board across the gold panel was on it when I extracted it ...
I have never had an issue with my electronic shifter never any fluids spilled in this area clean and dry always
Possibly my ELS has failed ... I did order a basic Auto Lock Inspection Loop Checker EZS Immobiliser tester to determine the status, should arrive this week
I suspect I ll have to pull the EIS and ELS and start my discovery search from that point
Very foolish on my part to only have one working key as this is an embarrassment and not very intelligent
Anyone having any experience or thoughts regarding this regardless, I would appreciate your thoughts direction or redirection
Thanks for your time in advance
