Exclamation E320 Post-Flood Issues

Hello, new to this form, I'm Brandon.

I live in Houston, and if you didn't know, it rained hard. My Mercedes E320 (base) 1998 experienced flood damage, with the carpet inside being damp, and somethings odd.

So my electronics are off, but aren't? My car's key won't turn, and the inside lights won't work, as well as the remote won't unlock my car. However my front lower headlights (low beams) seem to be stuck on.

I opened the hood, some leaves/dampness where the belts are.

I'm getting it towed to my house for now but wanted some incite prior.

Thanks!

Flood damage.
You will need to pull up ALL the front section carpeting and dry-out thoroughly all the moisture. There is a high probability your wiring connections, etc under the carpets and possibly the fusebox (passenger-side kick panel) are soaked.
Lots of towels, hairdryers (heatgun, use carefully!), etc as well as crc electric connector cleaner.
Take your time and get ALL the moisture out first. The molded carpets are heavy so do a thorough job getting under the carpets.

Depending on the water height---look at the sills, they are filled with wire and if you know a paint shop ask them to use their heat booth to dry the car out
