Fitting ML MCS/Nav in W210
Hi All,
I am in the process of trying to install an MCS/Nav in my 1999 E320 W210. I have all the parts except for the Double Din support frame and wood panel. They arrive tomorrow...Don't even ask me how much that burl wood panel cost...let's just say I'm still sore!
Anyway, my question is mostly about how well the MCS/Nav unit fits in the Double Din Comand Support Frame part. Are there any modifications that need to be done to get it to accept and lock in the MCS Unit?
Thanks and wish me luck!![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

I realize that as I just took about 2 hours just to remove that part...Wow!
That was HARD!
Anyway, what I'm wondering is if there is a special cage (like the one for the A/C) that I need to get to allow the MCS Unit to fit snug/lock into the Double Din Opening. As it stands now, it is very loose and won't clip in the way the old radio or a/c unit does.
