I do not have a factory repair manual. So i do not know which front cylinder (driver or passenger side) is the number One cylinder in my 2001 E430?

Thanks but no thanks. Your six year old will be very confused as to which diagram is correct. Of course I previously found this from the internet as well, but the different diagrams show conflicting information. The first diagram for 113 engine showed the P side, but the next diagram for 4.3 L engine shows it is the D side. Which one is correct. The mercedes service manager at the dealership said it is the D side. The mercedes mechanic at an independent repair place said it is the P side.

btw, I went with the P side front cylinder as number 1 10/17/19). i also sent strigoi to wish him luck selling his car and told him I do not like his distaseful "like" for a disrespectful message.
