1997 e320 problems
what was wrong before and which led to the (I'm assuming you mean the ) PSE pump under the seat to be replaced?
were the windows working and turn signals working before the pump (and please, identify which pump was replaced)?
how did you check the fuses (visual or impedance)? and which fuse block did you check?
what pump part number did you replace and what is the replacement part number?
who did the work for you on the pump and did they use the Mercedes Star Diagnostic System?
My car was parked about 2 years ago and hit on the right front. The steering lock was jammed tie rod damaged control arms fender etc. I slowly but surely put the car back together. Once back together the windows and sunroof stopped working. The turn signals stopped working and the alarm was going off. Took the car to an independent mercedes mechanic and was told the PSE pump was bad and the CCM may be bad. Also told the Crank sensor was going bad and K40 was bad. Had the independent mechanic replace the PSE and brought the car home. Put in a new K40 and bought a new crank sensor( have yet to install yet car runs though) main issue is the windows and sunroof don't work, central locking and alarm not working, turn signals not working so the car is not road worthy. Trying to figure out what could be causing the problem. My car only has 146k miles and I love driving it. Just want it back on the road..

I'm not sure what to recommend. I feel you need the SDS to isolate trouble spots and causes instead of relying
on secondary symptoms. One red flag is that the immobilizer activated so until that has been resolved with
certainty, it may still be partially in effect. the PSE pump MAY need to be introduced to the car via SDS
if the donor car was not equipped the same as your. but like I said, there are a whole host of devil in the details
not mentioned so each symptom will need it's own flow chart to isolate and investigated to determine if it is
a problem of it's own doing....or interrelated to something else on the food chain. it may be way more than can
be done via keyboard/Internet and without an experienced person with diagnostic skills on hand to process the
troubleshooting flow chart.
