Hey Steve, like the upgrade pics. Your car is sweet! I had Euro Pimp hook me up with a comand in May and wasn't sure about the TV tuner or DVD but after seeing your ride I'm sold. I'll just have to wait until he's in Cali again for my next list of goodies. Enjoy!

Wow, looking tight Steve. I've personally seen the Euro Pimp work and he is pretty talented! It was out at the show in So. Cal. last year. I was impressed by all of his little pocket gadgets. Great job Steve! Can't wait to get another Benz sometime next year!

You'll love the multi-contour seats, it was one of the biggest sellers when I bought my car, along with everything else in an MB of course, lol...

Absolutely gorgeous!

May I be so crass as to inquire about the cost of installing the COMAND and headset monitors? I live in the Mercedes wasteland of Oklahoma, where they have barely heard of these cars. I guess it's dreaming to think that he would want to come here to do some installs. I'm thinking it would go great in my wife's 2001 E320 wagon!

rpdunne

Small world, I also live in Tulsa, and my wife also drives a 2001 E320 4matic wagon.

A couple of years ago a purchased some xenon headlights from Steve. At that time I was interested in doing some other modifications and asked him if he ever came to this part of the country. He had just been in Houston and I think he said he occasionally goes to Dallas. I think his email is s_krabbenborg@hotmail.com .

Yeah Jimmy,,,its really my only complaint about this car,the seats could be more inviting and comfy,,Although I still love going to work, the best part is the 45 minutes each way I spend in the car, traffic or no

No Problem RP........
Crass,,not at all,its nice to see a man with some vocal skills Steve offered a refurb euro comand for 14 or 15 hundred installed.I got a new euro for 1900 installed. Comes with 1 yr warranty. The monitors he basically included in the total job ,I bought them seperately from a Cali dealer, with a DVD player,a switcher, wireless headphones, etc for $1350.
BTW,,I would have thought that OK had plenty of oil men driving the Benz's?

Those days are long past. This is the land of 4x4's and old Lincolns with a few scattered Hummers and MB's. My fellow Tulsan in this post would probably agree. The dealership here tends to be lacking in the service dept, and overpriced in the sales dept, so I have bought my last 3 MB's from dealers in other states.

Looks like great value for your money with the install. Best of luck with it!

What color? Ours is Tectite Gray with Charcoal, and a big Brazilian flag in the front plate slot (my wife's Brazilian). In the past I've used Benzin for non-warranty work, but both my cars are now Starmarked, so I'm forced to use the dealer.
See you around the oilfields!

Will do-I guess I've got to take some first...
My CL is only 2mos old, and the wagon is 2wks old. Just haven't gotten around to it yet.

Our wagon is black with grey interior. It is still under warranty so we use the dealer. I have never used Benzin. I use European Autospecialist for my BMW and also used them for my wife’s previous Mercedes.
