w210 instrument cluster lcd remain on
Hi All,

Any idea what is happening with my car? The Instrument panel LCD back light remain on even after I pull out the key, the original radio won't switch off too.

I have to pull the Fuse #4 at the engine bay to temporary off it.

My car is W210 E280, year 2003, last batch.

With no key in, check all the door switches.
Open a door and depress the switch (go door to door) it should go out each time.

Already checked, furthermore if its due to door switch, the instrument panel will also show the characters. Mine just the backlight lcd is turned on.

DO these have an MFD menu access?
I presume they do.

Perhaps you can reset this in the menu?

Hi,

No I don't have access to mfd, and my control button on the steering wheels is not working either.
