1) The W210 NEVER had a blue connector with a green/black wire...
2) he has a 98 300 listed in his profile...so guessing that that is the car in which he is installing his nav...

I would say: A connector pin position 1.

greetingz,
I looked in WIS and the wire is behind the instrument cluster.

" connect green lead to multiple connector / Hall sensor / Speed signal (X35/5) behind instrument cluster. "

Maybe that helps.

Simply copying something out of WIS doesn't help much...nobody knows where to find X35/5...

AGAIN, I would say: A connector (bottom connector in the back of the radio...) pin position 1 (the number can be read of the connector)!

The only connectors I can find are the ISO connectors for the radio power & speakers. There is one other black plug but this has only got an earth wire to it.Looks like i will have to buy The Pioneer pulse generator

the third and last time I write this down...A connector pin pos 1!!!
The ISOconnector is a combined A connector (bottom 8 pin positions) with power, ground, illumination, SPEEDPULSE, and some other features and B connector (top 8 pin positions with the speaker wiring)...

A connector pin position 1!!! No need to buy any pulse generator as your car already has a speedpulse AT THE RADIO.

I think you are making too much work for yourself. Why not take Steves advice and see if it works.

I read somewhere on the internet that you can find the speed pulse on the A-connector pin position 1. See http://www.beckerautosound.com/1492.jpg and http://www.beckerautosound.com/1492.html ...

But truthfully, I think you should probably buy the Pioneer Pulse Generator. It would save everyone else a lot of trouble.
