Head unit replacement?
Hi,
Newbie with a 96 E320 need an opinion for the MBWorld audio gods on a Nakamichi CD400. Does the HU fit the space and is installation easy - meaning no special adaptors or anything. I'm old school as far as displays is concern for HUs. After installation, is there a sound quality difference if I leave the stock speakers as is? As $$ becomes available, I will add amps and new speakers to add to the system. Thank you and if there are pictures to illustrate your "old school" HU, it would be greatly appreciated.
Regards

Not sure about the size of your head unit but if its the standard DIN size, it will work.
Not too hard to replace.
I don't recommend using the stock speakers. If money is an issue, save up until you have enough to get a HU, speakers and some amps.
Money well spend. Oh, keep all the old stuff incase you want to sell your car. Then you can just put the original system back in.
