Does anyone know how to repair headlight washer system?

I am wondering if anybody on this board has a diagram for how the system is made up. When I push the button on the dash nothing happens? Where is the pump etc?

TIA,
Steve

Pump

The pump is usually in the bottom/side of the tank. There is a grommet and the pump is pushed into it. If you remove it you can put power to it, and go frm there.

The systems with headlight washers have an extra tank about half the size of the windshield washer bottle hanging in front of it. It has it's own pump mounted to the tank. See if it is seized or not plugged in properly. Does your winshield washer pump work?

I finally figured out how come the headlamp washers weren't working. The pump was missing!?! I was looking throught the service records from before I bought the car and found that the tank had been replaced, at the dealer. I bought a new pump and proceeded to install it and where the pump is supposed to go, they had threaded a plastic nut into it. I replaced the grommet as well and now the level is going down on the tank just from sitting. I thought it might be leaking from the other grommet, but it is actually leaking in the tubing connections for the headlight washers. I tightened up the clamps and I shall see how they hold. Now I think I know why there was no pump.

Anybody else have this problem?
