Vibration
Pep boys put it on the lift and inspected it for free. It was the center driveshaft support bearing. The bearing wore down so the driveshaft would move in the housing.
Anyone have a write up or should I just have it done professionally?

Are you referring to the flex disks?
Before you decide,
Some reading here for additional info.

Did the little drive shaft boot come off? Mine was shredded when I inspected mine last week.
There are many videos on Youtube W210 flex disc replacement for this repair.
A lift will make life easier for sure but maybe accomplished with 4 jack stands.
Main points:
1. mark driveshaft with wax line from trans to front driveshaft (through flex disc) front though center to back draft shaft and back to differential (through flex). To maintain balance and alignment of DS. There is a marking on the driveshaft also but one cant be too sure. 3 jaw puller to remove center bearing.
2. may have to remove part of exhaust for more access
3 . Id replace bearing and support as well as both flex discs- might as well while all is off. regrease DS splines.
4. pay attention to markings of flex discs. i think number stamping go to the rear.
5. Parts about $180 including boot, flex discs, bearing and center support.
