Good dealer with cheap rates for brakes in NJ

The brakes on our 98' E320 4-matic are starting to vibrate at even low speeds. I need them to be resurfaced or replaced soon. The car is going up for lease in 4 months so I can hold out but I dont want to sacrifice the safety of my family. Where can I get the rotors turned/resurfaced and pads replaced inexpensively in NJ. I live near Livington/Short Hills/Millburn.

Prices will be approxamatly the same at most dealers. You may not need any rotor work but just pads and maybe only the front. Be advised MB does not want the rotors turned (for good reasn) and only a light resurfacing is permitted.

Sosh you'd be suprised. For example an oil change at one dealer was $130 while another was $70. Also Im curious as to why MB doesn't recommend turning the rotors and only light resurfacing as well. When the pads and rotors were replaced at 20K I was curious as to why they didn't just resurface the rotors since they were still in speck. My previous Acura Vigor went 90K miles on the original rotors and was resurfaced 2 times. The car was driven aggressively as hell and the brakes were fine. While our Benz had the pads and rotors changed @ 20K.

Re maint cost, Think with that price disparity you may have been quoted for a "package" with the more expensive change. Re brakes, Benz uses a softer pad and rotor that will perform better and is supposedly quieter. Thus the reason for the excessive brake dust with German cars. I am not completely up to speed on maint costs as both of my MB's are under warranty with free maint
