98 e320 wagon upgrading the stereo...
Hey guys,
I’m sure it’s been covered a few times but I’m curious about replacing my Non Bose factory stereo with a new head unit, new speakers, and some proper thump...
My main concern is the wiring harness... I don’t see any available options for a non Bose wiring adapter so I don’t have to cut the harness... will the adapter designed for the Bose system still work?
also on a side note I’ve seen some people using aftermarket speaker adapters for the front and rear doors... on the 98 am I going to need those? I’m doing 6.5 Rockford Fosgates up front and 5 1/4 in the back. Do I need anything to accomplish the install properly? Speed rings, adapters etc?
