Gearbox and Timing Issues
Good Day,
My name is Tebs and i need help with my car.
2 yrs ago i splashed into a pool of rain water with my car and unknowingly the car drove for 50meters and stopped whilst idling in gear. Please note it is an automatic transmission. I had the car towed home. 6 months later i had some mechanic check o the problem and he realised after taking the gearbox out that the pump is broken, the part was replaced however it broke again whilst testing the car and the 3rd one too. I got irritated and decided to go buy ànother gearbox from the same model car however the car refused to do anything nor move untill today. So at the same time the timing cover was leaking oil because it had a crack it had to be replaced but since the car no longer start and i realize that the mechanic might have messed up the timing. Can you please advice me on how i can get this sorted please.
