2000 e320 limp mode still

So i bought my 2000 e320 a few months back and found out that it had a blown head gasket. I went and bought another engine which by the way sounds great. However the car will not shift out of second nor will it go into 4,3,2,1 after much research I have done the following repairs to the car.
1. Conductor plate with new connector
2. valve body
3. shift module
4. Replaced the TCM module
5. Replaced the kick down switch
6. New fluids
7. New brake switch
CAn you believe that after all of that the car still will not shift out of second gear and am still in limp mode
I even bought a new icarsoft mb2 scanner to clear codes and im still in the same spot as i was in. Now b4 i put the engine in the car shifted fine. All of this started after i put the new engine in. Anyone shed a light to this problem for me

You more than likely need to reset the transmission. I was in limp-mode and changed conductor plate. Until the STAR reader was used, no luck. Highly suggest you get that done or hopefully someone else know more about it than I do.

Have you tried putting the old TCU back in and trying it?

I have and I cleaned it out again using contact cleaner before I did. It still didn't work. So I switched it back with the new one that I bought. In my research I found that this year doesn't require programming.

you can install only a brand new controller or a controller that has been reset and then it needs to be programmed at the dealership.
also, are there any other codes? A wheel sensor can cause your car to go into limp mode.

Throwing more parts into it is not a solution.

Karetny2000e320,
Have you attempted any rescans?
