E430 Transmission question...
Does someone out there know the differences between the 722.623 transmission for the years up to 99 and the 2000 -03???

While searching for a transmission for my 98 E430 I found listings for 98-99 OR 2000- 03 - never 98-03...This led me to believe there might be a difference between the two besides the obvious fact that the 00-03 were newer. Also, they do not share interchange numbers.They may be physically the same but possibility not electronically compatible.That was my point.
