Hello,

I have an E200 m111.942 with 476 000km.

Here are the issues I experience, maybe they are related, maybe not.
-Idle is irregular upon cold start.
-every now and then I hear a loud popping noise coming from under the hood, on the exhaust side right after starting, it clears off under a minute.
-The car has already broken (popped) two intake tubes (Seems like there was some pressure and it broke the plastic part that holds the rubber elbow to the plastic tube going across the top of the engine.
-Parked, If I hold the throttle at 2500 for a minute, when I let it go the car will die.
-On the highway, if I push the clutch in, the car will die.

So far I am replaced:
-Plugs
-Plug wires
-Coils
-MAF (though not a Bosch, but no cheap ebay as well)
-Coolant temperature sensor
-O2 sensor
-Fuel filter
-Ecm (Garage confirmed me that it was broken, it had quit wanting to start often)
-Gas pressure regulator
-Oil cap
and more but the rest is other stuff

I know compression is good

Any clues as to what could cause my problems?

 

Maybe if you could post a video of the car making the noise you're referring to might help to better help you determine what the problem might be?
