New steering wheel

Anybody knows if a 09-14 MB E-class steering wheel fits my 1997 W210? Functions like horn and buttons etc aren't that interesting, but is it the same spline, and does fit physically? (I'm doing the OFGear TCM, and want the paddle function on a newer wheel)

I don't know for sure but I'm inclined to think it won't work as the newer steering wheel will have many more electronics than the W210 steering wheel has.

It's not necessary to be so rude when someone is asking for help with a legitimate question.

Thank’s for the answer! I’m not to bothered with the electronics and other functions of the steering wheel, will even drive it without the airbag (I’m building a track day car out of it). I’m interested in the newer wheel because of the shift paddles that I’ll connect to a stand-alone TCU. My other option is a Momo/Nardi wheel and build my own paddles. So I’m only interested in if the splines are the same and that the steering wheel fits in the car.
