W210

When we drop the w210, the front steering knuckle is moving away from the rim, right?

that sounds a little too casual a question (to me). can you first describe how you are lowering the suspension and what it is you are trying to measure in reference to the knuckle and why? If I were to answer your question at this point, I would say.... kind of....maybe.

I saw 10j et40, 10j et32 sized rims fitted without spacer on some lowered w210s and I was curious. I know that normally max 9.5j et28 rim can be fitted.

Yeah, I think you need more details about the plan. Most MB lugged wheels will fit...but it comes down to the combination of tire size, wheel size, and suspension lowering which is planned. With low ET, my concern would also include the wheel arch rubbing against the outside sidewall when driven (and when the steering is at full lock).
