2001 E320 W210.065 ABS ESP BASS LIGHTS ON/NO BRAKE LIGHT
Hello,
I have a 2001 e320 w210. The abs/bas/esp lights are on. Also the brake lights doesnt works. I did some stuff trying to fix it but no luck. Bought MB V2.0 scanner and the codes that comes up are :
1. C1200-008 S9/1 (STOP LAMP SWITCH ) : plausibility
2. C1200 S9/1 (STOP LAMP SWITCH )
I need to mention before that my mechanic told me that needed to replace the steering angle sensor. I did not replace that but tried to put a complete steering whel from another mercedes w210 and this did not resolve the issue.
First i replaced the brake light switch located under the brake pedal. The lights are still on.
Checked all the fuses and relays with a multimeter and they looks ok.
I replaced also all speed sensors for the 4 whels. Still no luck.
Checked the brake oil level all good. Checked the tire pressure, the brakes condition all good.
Finally replaced the abs pump. (Bought one from a local used auto parts) and still the same issue.
Anyone has any idea please what might be the issue ??
