Removal of Rear Driver Side Trunk Panel
Hello,
I recently purchased an OEM CD Player to put in the back of my 2000 E320. I know the Fiber Optic cables should be behind the rear trunk panel on the drivers side. I'm not exactly sure how to go about removing it though. Are there a lot of tabs that I need a plastic tab puller to remove, or does it come out relatively easily. Just want to make sure I don't snap any plastic when I remove it.

remove as many of these plastic pins that you can find. the trunk liner surrounding the trunk is actually like 3+ separate pieces. the big
tub forms the rear of the trunk. I recall that each liner piece is also hooked into sheet metal tabs so you would need to bend the paper
composite liner firmly to unhook from the metal tabs. more bending and careful folding of the liner is needed in order to maneuver the
large rear liner out.
