Tallest tire setup (comfort) for staggered 18 Monoblocks
Mates,
I have a E430 that sees a lot of off-road tire wear. The vehicle is located in Mexico where the road conditions are horrible.
What tire setup would you recommend for 18x8,18x9 offset 31/35R 18 OEM AMG monoblocks.
I am looking for the tallest tire I can run for comfort. I dont care if the car will look silly. I need it so I can drive the car comfortably in Mexico.

many options to consider...which can lead to a mix to match solution based on a variety of preferences (ride, height, center of gravity, body roll, cost, etc)
you can replace the tires but it may not be much since you have monobloc tires with low ET. any taller tire will likely rub the wheel arch edging in the front.
cheapest attempt to consider would be to replace all of your spring perch rubber spacers with the thickest ones available.
My guess is that it would give you an additional .25-.5" body clearance and thus, perhaps a little more shock travel in the
process.
then, you can consider the tallest tire which will fit within the available space
an old race car trick is to bind two spring coils together to prevent them from compressing...resulting in stiffer ride
you can also replace your shocks with something like Bilstein heavy duty
there is no easy answer at this point because once you alter the balance of the tuned suspension, there are negative impacts to consider.
