1997 E420 A/C Problem
Hello there. New to the forum. I have a question about my A/C. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Here goes. Car got beached on a parking curb a while back. Radiator support buckled on both sides and radiator was damaged to the point where trans fluid mixed with coolant and each system was contaminated with a "strawberry milkshake". A/C must have also stopped working somewhere during this time. Anyways, I replaced radiator and flushed both cooling system and trans, car runs like a champ again. (What a mess). Air conditioned not working now. Don't know if it's related to the other radiator problem or not, just thought a would mention it. Currently, A/C blows hot air. No EC light, connected gauge and refrigerant charge looks great and compressor clutch engages. Blower works on all speeds. Read codes on climate control panel and got B1227, B1234, B1235 and B1416. Cleared all codes. Still blows hot. Checked heater control duo-valve. Both coils are good. Everything else also looks good, except the 2 plungers that are supposed to be in the valve body were missing altogether. I have owned this car for 6 years. The plungers have been missing since this car has been in my position. In short, I now have no codes, (they never returned after several tries), duo-valve is missing plungers, (been that way since I have owned it for the last 6 years), refrigerant charge is perfect, compressor clutch is engaging yet no cold air. I live in the Arizona desert. It's getting hot. This car always had excellent air conditioning. It looks like everything is working correctly. Any ideas? Please help. I may melt when summer gets here. I could stand to lose a few pounds, but I have other preferred methods for weight loss

OK. Thanks for the response, Plutoe. I appreciate it. I performed this a couple of weeks ago, but couldn't get back to this until now. Here is the data from the test;
