Hi guys I just bought a one owner E320, the guy I bought it from ordered it brand new from MB in 2000 and just never drove it. This is my first Mercedes so I’m not sure what needs to be done on the car. These are all the things I’m planning on doing to the car in the next couple of days.

oil change mobil 0W40 synthetic with Mann oil filter

rear differential drain and fill

transmission oil and filter change

coolant flush

Engine and cabin filters

spark plugs

break and power steering fluid change

other than the oil I’m not sure what type of fluids I should go with is Mercedes Oem fluid recommend over liqui moly?

Anything else you guys suggest?

don't be pound foolish only use OEM approved fluids---you can get a list from any dealer unless you have the owners manual

I agree with Plutoe on this. You most especially want to use MB coolant for your coolant flush. Non-MB coolants will damage the MB cooling systems. Many horror stories have been written about this in various MB forums over the years.

look around for detoriated rubber

I sorta doubt it needs plugs but it won't hurt anything.

I'd add to inspect all the rubber tubing and hoses etc. The atmosphere and sun cause decay unrelated to mileage. Lube up the hinges everywhere and check the wiper blade too.

What a find! Hope it serves you well.
