Mercedes E class E220 AmG night edition year 2016 euro 6
Mr

I have E class e220 was waiting very close to the flood water and lorries come from opposite direction and generated huge wave of water as like sea wave because flood water was about 3 feet deep the wave/waves caused my car engine cut off is it possible how to fixed this issue any idea about hydro lock or sensor or electrical replacement
Can any one explain why this happened is there any electrical fault or any sensor stopped working. Before this incident happened I was driving in heavy rain on motorway a lot of splash happened on motorway

first let me say, i think that you were foolish to be driving into and or near flood waters. common sense tells you that cars are not boats and water is a death blow to a cars electrical system. my suggestion is to let the car dry out and then try starting

I think raising an after the fact issue about driving in bad weather is not helpful to the OP at this point. Sometimes people don't always have a choice and they have a compelling reason for driving in bad weather. I do like your suggestion of letting the car dry out and see if it'll start.
