Does this need a certain adhesive,and do you remove the existing one? Thanks to all who reply..

If you are talking about the chrome lip above the license plate, it just fits over the orginal one. All you have to remove are the 2 screws from the bottom that hold it on. It is held on with a double sided tape and the 2 screws. Make sure you get one for a US spec car. The euro one is longer.

Mine is molded to fit all of the way over, including the underside around the light for the plate. I am sure there are a lot of places making them so there are a number of designs for it. I saw one that was half as wide and only covered the bottom edge. It looked more like the W211 style but it only came in the euro (longer) trunk lip.

It pays to comparison shop.....!!!!

BY THE WAY....if you use the adhesive type,dont push too hard,,you could crease your trunk,the sheet metal has alot of aluminum in it,,Ive seen it happen.
