HELP WITH DASHCAM WIRING
I will make an update about this tomorrow for others who would like to know how to install a dashcam or anything else.
Main issues I see are with having the correct ground.

The most important thing is making sure you have a strong and proper ground. Here I used the flat pronged piece that came with my fuse splitter kit, and I grounded to the chassis on the 13mm or 14mm bolt here behind the panel for fuses on the dash. The panel can be remove using a flathead screwdriver.
Here is the fuse splitter I used. I tested fuse slots and found an empty one that is normally used for parking sensors (number 14). It shows 11.5 volts with key on and after 30 seconds goes to 12 volts (you will hear like a metal thud in the engine bay) and thus turns on the camera. I put a 15 amp fuse in the bottom (closest to the socket) and 5 amp on the top (you can use any other amp fuse but it MUST be less than 15).
Here is a better look at which socket I plugged it into.
I snipped the end of this rubber piece with some wire cutters and ran the wire through it and then through the firewall. You can access that hole in the firewall by unclipping the panel under the dash in the driver's footwell (there is a rubber grommet in the hole, be careful not to drop the grommet under the fuse box, it will pop out if not careful).
The top piece of this fuse box can be popped off, so that you can slide out that rubber exit piece for the wire. To remove it you need to remove these 6 screws marked in red. (If you can get the wire through without popping off the top, go ahead. But this is a 100% sure way of doing it.
