W210 Timing Cover Replacement

Hello,

I need some help, I broke 2 bolts changing a water pump on a 1998 W210 M112. I attempted to re-tap the holes after drilling out the old bolts but I made it worse, so now I need to replace the timing cover. Has anyone done this? If so, can you please share your parts list and DIY advise. Thanks very much, I’m just trying to keep this 23 year old car alive.

your best bet is to subscribe to MB WIS or go to ebay for a copy---the procedure, parts and torque requirements are spelled out in detail
