I had to make an abrupt stop in the Lower East Side of Manhattan and my SRS light came on. I've checked all of the connections under the front seats and still can't get it to turn off. I also tried to clean the seatbelt connections. I'm assuming my airbags won't work until this is resolved. I disconnected the battery to try and reset the light without success. Any suggestions? Thanks!

without the scan tools your are FUYA'd---get a good scan and then go get a corned beef sando

read up on SRS problem reports using the SEARCH feature. the w210s are noted for failed SRS sensor/switch

but you definitely want to isolate and identify the cause of the warning light first
