CD changer for sale! new lower price $150.00

Hi Folks,

The classifieds look really stale so I thought I would post here instead!

I've got an Alpine CD CHM-S630 changer plus PIE adapter for use in the benz up for sale. Also have the factory MBZ mounting plate for the changer to go in the left(driver side) of the trunk.

All for 150.00 OBO plus shipping. It's got all of the mounting hardware and cd magazine and documents and original box ready for delivery.

Have no need for it since upgrading the audio system. If anyone wants the factory bose amp or speakers, let me know. they're yours! You just cover the shipping or pick them up.

I seem to recall '99 was the last year before MB went to fiber optics, could be wrong though.

Other members might want to chime in.

If your car does have the regular cables, then this type of changer will work. Easy way to check? Dunno. For my car, I had the cd changer harness located in the rear driver side of the trunk behind the fabric panel.

My changer sold already (thanks Mustafa!), but you may want to check ebay or local classifieds such as craigslist for listings.

The key is the adapter. You will need to purchase one in order for an aftermarket changer to work. I had a PEI adapter and it worked fine. (about 60-80 bucks retail)

good luck,
