recommend replacement wiper blades?

Was heading in for replacement blade...then stopped. Coming to this group for your collective wisdom first on this relatively low cost, ho-hum item. Any options other than the factory issue "Crafted with Pride by Guenther" blade at exhorbitant, Euro dollar conversion price..... are they all about the same?

hey dude, for yours wipers, all you need is the wiper insert (rubber strip), you can use your old arm. the insert shouldn't be more than $5 at your local dealership. Good luck man. Dennis.

Go to AutoZone and get a Bosch.

Ordered Bosch but it hadn't arrived yet. So during the last car wash, I pulled the wiper insert out and cleaned it thoroughly by squirting cleaner on a rag and then used a sawing motion for several mins until it no longer left black marks on the rag. Then found a can of silicone in the garage and sprayed the rag and repeated sawing motion with the blade. Reinstalled the wiper insert onto the wiper arm but flipped it around this time. Figured it it had worned somewhat against the windshield with a set angle of attack, this reverse angle might offset the chatter. First rain came couple of days ago and the silence and lack of chatter was deafening. We'll see how long this lasts.
