Do you keep the same torque on a new bigger nut?

2001 E320 4matic wagon. The WIS specs say I'm to torque down a tie rod end to wheel carrier M10 1.5 to 20NM and a 45 degree turn after.

However the parts company Meyle has an M12 1.5

Does anyone know how to compute the difference? How much more NM?

If the threads are the same the torque will be the same. The size of the nut does not affect the recommended torque. It just affects what socket you put on the torque wrench. I don't know your specific application so my answer is general and not specific, so check the threads.

Same thread pitch, I contacted Meyle directly to get it. 1.5 so that means 20nm and a 45 degree turn after. Thanks Nelbur!
