Removing the steering wheel switches?

Hi, As I posted earlier I found that of the several suggestions the Rubber Renue seemed to work the best to get the sticky gunk off. To insure I don't touch the leather steering wheel how do I remove the switches? Hopefully it's tabs in the back that snap out? Thanks!

What I drive?

Probably forgot to add it. Lucky to find this one, it's a 2000 E430 Sport with interesting AMG adds as it was ordered from the factory as a demo car for the dealership in Walnut Creek,Ca with very rare color/interior combo. I'm the second owner with 56k miles. Pictures near to the last in the W210 pictures file. I just sold my 1966 230S, I have a 2017 GLE350 for the work car, and my newest awesome find a 2004 CLK55AMG with 49k miles, two prior California owners, it's perfect. It will pin your eyeballs, fastest production car they imported in 2004 and there are only 509 of them. Pictures in the CLK W209 file.
