So I recently purchased a 1999 E430 from a friend of mine and I'm interested in replacing the head unit and amp as well as adding a subwoofer, possibly changing out the speakers if necessary. I have the COMAND 2.0 stereo with navigation and I also have the bose system. From what I've read, the bose system complicates things. Is there anyone on here who can help simplify this to me so I have a better understanding of what I'm heading into? I'm completely new to this and I know absolutely nothing about audio systems so any help would be appreciated.

IF you dont want to listen to your local auto audio shop then look at all the audio documents for your VIN in MB WIS or go to ebay for a copy.----if you dont know what MB WIS is you have larger problems. simply do what most 3rd graders would do and google
