Right blinker light not working
Hi everyone. I’m a new member to this forum.
My son will be inheriting his late grandfathers e430 and I’m trying to fix a few things on it before he starts driving it. One issue is that the right blinker arrow on the console doesn’t work. The left blinker works fine. I can hear it clicking so I can tell it’s on when I’m signaling and the lights in the front, rear and side mirrors do work. I pulled the instrument cluster out and I can’t tell which light bulb needs to be replaced or if the blinker arrow is illuminated by one of the bulbs in back of the IC. Most of the dash lights also do not work which I plan to replace. I just want to make sure that I know what I’m replacing before ordering. I also want to replace only the bulbs that need to be replaced. It has a couple major problems that require a mechanic so I’m trying not to go broke replacing bulbs unnecessarily.
I’ve spent hours reading and searching the internet for information but most issues have to do with having a solid light, fast blinking, total outage of console, single lights not working at all. In this case the signal lights work. It’s just that the right blinker arrow is not working on the console. Any ideas what I need to replace??
