so i have looked at half dozen different side mirror replacement vids on yt and i am not seeing my w210 style/configuration as the videos show- which they show like 2 or 3 different styles, from the various years im suspecting...
but my mirrors need replacing, heater & motion stuff works, just theyre ugly looking mirrors.
so i have two new ones, and want to put in easily.
come to find out that the psgr side frame/cradle may be broken....but the driver side is the worse and id like
to get that done so 1) i know how to do it, and 2) so i can do them both
so here is pics of what i have. i dont have the locking mech i see in the videos that guys are referring/showing.
well hey i figured it out
got the plastic cover off, and now exposed the mirror and heater plate.. so i popped off the tip spring and the glass is starting to come off the heating plate
do i just pull off, or is there another something i need to do>?
Just slide it off. The glass is held on by plastic hooks and a metal catch. The plastic gets old and breaks and the metal catch can fall off and disappear.
