1996 E320 throttle actuator & wiring harness
Can anyone offer insight on replacing both the wiring harness and especially the throttle actuator?
My car surges on idle, and I've already replaced the Mass Air Sensor and purge valve to to avail.
I'm an advanced DIY'er, and don't want to spend $3k at the stealership.
Is the harness completely within the engine compartment even though the battery is under the rear seat?
The actuator seems like a quick (but expensive) swap out. Correct?
Mileage is an even 100k.

I remember seeing a thread about it on another board M.....Shop.com
I think you can figure out what M stand for.
Do a search and there should be alot of topics about it.
Especially the M103 and M104 engine.
Good Luck and let us know how it goes.
Take some pictures and post your own DIY thread here if you can.
It will help others here in the future.
