EPC light and limp mode help?

Hi guys I’m new to this forum and Mercedes altogether. I’ve recently acquired a W210 320 cdi which has several faults with it I’m trying to get to the bottom of. Plugged in with snap on scanner I have these faults:

P1622 Y75 electric switchover valve
P0100 bank 2/5 hot film mass airflow voltage too low.
P1403 egr open circuit
P1470 charge pressure negative control open circuit
P1189 inlet port shut off

Can anyone shed some light on what these may be and why the vehicle is in limp mode?

I’ve found after doing some initial diagnosis, the actuator rod had been disconnected for the swirl flaps. Upon reconnecting it seems the flaps are seized. Is it likely the EGR has clogged these up and causing the limp mode? I also found someone had disconnected what appears to be a vacuum line from the top of the rocker cover which goes to the intake pipe on the turbo and thus the actual turbo one was drawing unmetered air. I expected these to sort some issues but tried clearing the faults and they’re still on the system. Any ideas what to look for? Thanks I’m advance

Quick update, the maf is reading 0.00g/s regardless of engine load/rpm. Does this point to a faulty maf and are these common on these vehicles? I have done visual check on all wiring and appears okay, but without knowing the specified voltage of the 4 wires it’s hard to diagnose. Any pointers anyone?

Yes and a yes to the EGR system. I have no idea why you did not scan the car before you purchased. In any event now it is going to get expensive.

I have not purchased the vehicle, I’ve acquired the vehicle from a late family friend. Just trying to sort it and move it on, I believe the maf to be faulty.

Bit of an update, sorted the EPC light issue, was down to a faulty 7.5a fuse in the ECU compartment. It kept popping when switching ignition on, actually traced it down to the oil breather heated which had burnt out and essentially shorted itself together.

This week whilst I’m off I figured it sort the swirl flaps out as when I checked originally they were seized. Took inlet off and cleaned them all out, working Lovely now. Also cleaned EGR out whilst it was apart, had a fair bit of smoke once it eventually started up however now it’s going into a soft limp mode again, this time however no EPC light and intermittent. Any ideas what this could be?
