P1580... 1999 e320 w210

I'm not finding/seeing much on this code
Two part code..
why no cel...
Is there way of testing it if I get it off...?
Replace with new ...? Can i reconditioned one? Send out to recondition...?

I'm seeing oem new ebay for 140, why bother trying to test/recondition...just replace with new...what say you guys?

Car runs like the wind for 30 min...then stalls till 30min later. Good for another 10min or so. Let sit overnight, can drive again for hour, vthen stalls.... wash rinse repeat.

So p1580 ...m33 actuator. ?
Maybe my scan tool isnt supporting mb code protocol?

<EDIT> just looking at my own post i see that this is a pending code? so that means what in this case? would a faulty throttle body cause it to stall at stop signs and red lights? ...but run decent open road?

"sounds like" Crankshaft Position Sensor - CPS. Rear of the engine down towards the transmission. Next time this happens take a little cool water and trickle onto the CPS. If the car starts up, that's it.
