Hello fellow MB lovers and blog readers. I have a 1998 e320 which was given to me by my brother after he got his new car. It came with a few dings and scratches, normal wear and tear you know. Unfortunately his gf was driving the car for awhile and accidently hit the back bumper. Couple months later car falls into my hands and I want to get this fixed. I've tried searching the internet to try and figure out what this part is called. I came across the official Mercedes Benz parts website which led me to this link here (https://www.mbpartsbythebay.com/v-19...omponents-rear). I assume my car is the second diagram yet I'm not sure, o yeah my vin number is (WDBJF65F9WA528365) To make matters worse I think my part is discontinued(( I was hoping you guys could help me figure out which piece I need. I'll attach a picture of my car's bumper below. I appreciate any and all help Thank you for your time.

also pull the part and flip over. Most of the MB parts have part numbers on them

Unfortunately, that chip is out of the bumper cover. You need part 1 in the second diagram.

Depending where you live, we've found LKQ to always have a number of local yards with a good turnaround of E320. They have a good search tool as well as a heads up function as to when a certain make and model will come online:
