using a pre face lift instrument cluster in a facelift car?
Car is a 2002 e-430, I want to use a pre-face instrument cluster in this car, the plugs on the back of both look the same , will the prefacelift cluster work?

to be correct you need to first use you VIN and then go to MB EPC and see if the facelift part number comes up under your VIN if not your wasting your time and money as it is then not applicable

Pre-face lift only has one display, the newer had display for tiptronic gears, you won't be able to read the gear if you manage to connect the pre-faceligt speedo.
The newer ones had pixle problems, pre-facelift are more stout.
