It states only E320. But that is strange to me because the suspension for E320 and E430 are the same OEM parts.

Talking pricing

I was going to be having a cup kit installed on my 96 e320 this weekend, my local dealer said they do fit the 430 but the stance in the front is 1/4" lower than rated for the 320 (like lee said). Called autowerks down in San Diego said they won't have any in until mid summer. My local dealer in portland OR said 700.00 so don't pay 885.00.

Be wary about buying products from unauthorized dealers. H&R products come with a full warranty when purchased from an H&R authorized dealer. However, there are no guarantees, and in no way does H&R stand behind any products sold through a non-authorized dealer. Yes, in many cases, you get a lower price. But they fail to mention that it is because you are not paying for any of the quality control issues that H&R offers with their products.

Also, there is NO anticipated release date for the H&R cup kit. The first kits are on international backorder, and H&R does not yet have a date on when to expect them. I speak with H&R North America almost daily, and I can confirm when the kit is available.

Thanks,

Ben

ones too fast according to CHP!
Ben pretty well stated the case here. The kit is not even scheduled for delivery. We have a great deal of them on order (as we are one of H&R's largest direct Mercedes dealers) and will get the first shipment when they are here.

You are all free to purchase H&R from anyone you wish. Lord knows it is sold everyone and the prices vary greatly. Truth is that nobody knows what the exact price will be. Some of these so-called dealers don't even really know if it is available or not yet. That would be my first red flag that you may not be dealing with someone who knows a great deal about H&R. Also, if you purchase from an AUTHORIZED dealer (and there are many) you will have a warranty and will have FULL factory support. Purchasing from a company that is not an authorized dealer will not give you these benefits. You all can call Roger, Steve or Roland at H&R (888.827.8881) to verify this. These are not $250 springs, this is a full suspension, I know I would not buy something like this from anyone less then an authorized dealer who could stand behind the product and give me the piece of mind that my $40K or $50K or more MB was in good hands!

Thanks

Brad

Wow - why do you think you came to the wrong place?

Is it because you heard something you did not like?

This board is about honesty and helping other board members out, which is what honest information does. If you do not like honest information then you most certainly came to the wrong place.

If it is because you were asking specific technical questions and did not get an answer, well, how can anyone answer those questions when the product that you are talking about does not exist yet? The specs in the H&R catalog are just that - specs. The cup kit has NEVER been brought into production yet for the E-Class. Once it is here then we can answer the product specific questions on fitment and drop.

Thanks

Brad

Peter,

There are both grey marketers and those who buy through the wholesale network without the blessing of H&R! You DO know some of these shops - TRUST ME!

Well

I didn´t know that there were a cup kit from H&R for W210. That´s why i decided to go with the Bilstein B12 Tuning Kit , which include suspension and lowering springs.

But i´m still waiting for it, Bilstein promissed me having it by the middle of next month!
