2001 W210 Vehicle Equipment Specification Codes
Hello;
With the process of trying to verify the correct transmission oil color to purchase a quart, I pulled up various codes like transmission and engine. Is there a placard somewhere on the vehicle that tells me the various equipment codes on how this vehicle was built? My Suburban has a placard with all the RPO codes; RPO codes designate how a vehicle was built which breaks down engine, transmission, color codes… all standard and optional equipment can be determined by the RPO codes.
Did Mercedes-Benz do something like this so I can determine proper fluid specifications?
