Hi there!
My car has been steady up to the point I put a new—stellar—single din stereo in. I took it to a car audio specialist, and they put in their recommend stereo. Then they gave me a hand in upgrading my instrument-cluster's lights. They had the instrument-cluster unit out, and in a few times to check polarity. Everything was okay except for the center information screen has gone blank. Being so happy everything had blue LEDs, I didnt look twice at the slowly creeping problem. First the center screen. Then, everything. My entirety of clusters, gauges, and screens do not work right now. Nothing about the gages is working properly right now.
One thing to get out of the way is every single fuse is closed. Not one fuse is open. I made sure remove every fuse, and check for continuity.
Viewing other forums has lead me to the conclusion its a security code that needs to be entered. Is this true?... will a dealership fix this in a jiffy?
All questions are welcome, and I can help those that are knowledgeable troubleshoot my car.
Take a second to look at the screenshots of the video I tried to take to post here please. The engine is running here The engine is running here. Only thing working is the malfunction lights, and the parking brake engaged light. The engine is running here. Only thing working is the malfunction lights, and the parking brake engaged light.
