Yaw rate sensor trouble

Aloha guys.

I been getting intermittent error code on my message center regarding ABS, EBS and ETS. But I had to clear the stored code first so I just got the message today so decided to scan for the code. What I got was C1120/N64, Yaw rate sensor code. Now, did some research and gonna look for the sensor tomorrow. But it seems as the brand new one cost well over $1000 for it (This one. https://www.mboemparts.com/oem-parts...MtMmwtdjYtZ2Fz ).

Now, went on evilbay and found some used one, and these got me worried because they're so cheap. But between the new one and used one, because of the price, I am willing to take a chance and get the used one. My question now is, just how common is it to have this unit fail? My previous car had several modules and these were fairly uncommon to fail, so I replaced with used unit and went on for several years (I since junked the car due to part availability) . As electrical component, I know I'm risking/taking a chance, but over $1000, or even few hundred is way beyond my budget (don't take me wrong. I am willing to pay few hundred for, say set of four shocks or brake parts or............You got the idea) for a single component.

What are my options? BTW, I should add that every time I get the error message, all I have to do is to turn the car off completely, and restart it and I won't get the message for few weeks.

Thanks Plutoe. How do you run this test? With the sensor onboard or do I need to take it off?

But first thing first, I need to find someone or somewhere with XDOS...............
