I have an opportunity to purchase some great wheels for my 98 E320 (W210) and need to know if these will fit my car without any problems. Here are the specs on the package. These wheels came off a 1998 SL500.

18" AMG MonoBlocks With Tires
9.5" x 18" Rears with 275/35ZR Michelin Pilots
8.5" x 18" Fronts with 245/40ZR18 Michelin Pilots

I need expert opinions, please...no guessing. Thanks so much!!

Those aren't the full specs. The offset, which you don't list, is wrong. So the wheels will "fit", but they won't "fit properly".

The offsets are:

Front: +31mm
Rear: +35mm

TireRack shows the offsets for the two cars to be the same.

Those are not the offsets of 8.5" and 9.5" AMG wheels from the R129 SL. Are you sure you are not talking about 8" and 9" wide wheels... those are the offsets and are correct for the W210.

The W210 wheels were originally fitted to the R129 sport package as a stopgap until the proper offset/width wheels came out.

It seems you are doing the guessing... stop that!

Okay..wow...this is why I came to you guys for answers. They guy selling them said he bought them for his R129, but now is not sure if they are 8.5 and 9.5. I also asked him to see if the MB emblem is stamped inside the rims. So, perhaps these aren't OEM. But he was certain that the offsets were ET31 and ET35, as that was inside the wheels. Any thought before I get back tomorrow with all the other info? Thanks a bunch for your input!
