Issue: Filling up gas - stops at 3/4th
Sounds weird but ya, tried filling up clicks at 3/4 full. Tried different stations same thing. I saw forums on other models and people say it could be the Vent Valve Solenoid on the charcoal canister? Pretty expensive part, I have no CEL so don’t want to mess with anything just yet.
Anyone else have this?

Mine has almost same problem but instead of 3/4, it goes up to almost full. tad below the full line. And it feels like the car guzzle gas faster than my 86' Monte Carlo SS with 5.0 V-8 up until half tank line. It goes down so fast. I'll be lucky to get 100 miles before it hit the half way mark. Then from there, it's really slow going down. I usually fill them up tad below the 1/4 line but it only take around 15 gal at most. Sometimes, I'll wait until mid way between E and 1/4 line, but still only takes around 15 gal. No error code as well.
Not a big deal for me now so I'm not troubleshooting at the moment. I have bigger issue, for lack of better word, such as shocks and ignition coils (4 out of 6 is cracked at the bottom) so fuel issue will be later. Spent almost 1000 USD before I got rid of my other car that was replaced by this MB, so little short on cash.

My E320 started to act erratically as of late, so I was thinking of doing the same. Sometimes, it goes up to tad below F, some times quite a bit lower, sometimes goes up to F. The other day, my wife told me she was driving and the light came on half way down to E (in between 1/4 and E) so more so, I wanted to change it.
Guess it's time to get a new sending unit.
