Liquid sloshing noise?

Lately i've notice this sloshing noise of liquid coming from the passenger side doors or somewhere in that area. It occurs during acceleration and braking. It sounds as though there is a large amount of liquid moving around. Never heard this before. Could it be the gas tank? BTW, I had just filled the car up today and when I went to start the car again a few minutes later, I noticed the gas guage was between 1/1 and 1/2. WTF?? I'm pretty sure it's not the gas tank.

Re the sloshing noise, try clearing the body drains under the pass side rocker panel, they are most likely clogged up and water has accumulated. When they are cleared water should drain out.

Re the fuel gage, if it has not returned to operating properly the sender is failing and needs to be replaced

Sending unit on the W210's is a common failure. Had that happen to my E430. If out of warranty, it's "only" about $80.00 for the part.

Thanks guys. It took forever for the gas guage to get up to 1/1 which is completly not normal.

About the drain plugs, I cleared them but I found no debris. All I had to do was push up on this rubber and it started to drain. It was like a piece of rubber you could push up or down.
