I have 97' E300 D with 180,000 well taken care of miles. About a month ago for no reason the engine began dieing at will. A normal episode would go like so -- After driving the car for about 10 miles ( car is always warmed up when this happens) I get a low oil warning light with a check engine light — engine dies -
Then a low water — then ETS warning — maybe engine electronic warning light — By this time I have pulled the car over (coasted to a stop). Turn the ignition switch off wait 1 minute or less. Engine start as if nothing had happed. Help!!!
